Goat, World Music

Un disco sorprendente y heterogéneo de rock mágico, expansivo y directo, lleno de flechas certeras que parecen haber sido lanzadas en plenos años 70 para, tras atravesar dimensiones desconocidas en un imposible viaje en el tiempo, acabar clavándose en esta oscura pista de baile del fin del mundo, dividida entre el hedonismo y la necesidad de retorno. Goat traen lucecitas y alegría para pasar un buen rato en ese ambiente, con un sonido retro muy cuidado y excitante en voz e instrumentos, como esos teclados de otras eras y unas percusiones tribales que enriquecen mucho el guiso. Me quedo especialmente con "Disco Fever" y su teclado efervescente, además del misticismo de ese relajadito viaje psicodélico que se marcan en los últimos siete minutos y medio del disco. Energético y colorido.

An expansive and direct magic rock album, quite surprising and heterogeneous, full of accurate arrows which seem to have been thrown in the 70s and, after passing through unknown dimensions in an impossible time travel, reached this dark dancefloor in the end of the world, so divided between hedonism and the need to return. Goat brings lights and joy for it to have a good time, with a very exciting retro sound both in vocals and instruments, such as these keyboards from another ages and these tribal percussions which enrich greatly the stew. I'm especially into "Disco Fever" and its effervescent keyboard, and also the mysticism of this calm psychedelic trip they play in the last seven and a half minutes of the album. Energetic and colorful stuff.
